Higher Current Harness
Some owners of the SPECTRA 4 are using a harness like the one pictured below to charge large packs even faster.
By “ganging”, or tying, ports together and setting each one separately, you can get a higher mA charge rate. For example: Let’s say you have a 4000 mAh battery, you would plug the red banana plugs into the red jacks on the charger, then plug the black plug into a negative jack on the charger. Next you would set each port for a charge rate of 1000 mA. The battery would charge at a 4000 mA rate.
If you had a 3500 mA battery, you would set the first 3 ports to charge at a 1000 mA rate and the 4th port at a 500mA rate.
If you make a harness like the one below, but use only 2 reds and one black, you could charge 2 batteries at a maximum of 2000mA, or 2 amps. If you had 3 reds and one black you could charge at a max of 3000mA or 3 amps, and so on.

We do not manufacture or sell these harnesses. If you build one (or have someone else build one for you), you must be sure to use heavy gauge stranded wire. The connector you use to connect the harness to your battery, must also be rated for the kind of current you will be charging at.
