The computational results below are the recommended Max Rates for charging and discharging NiCad or NiMh Packs only. For Lithium packs, follow the manufacturers guidelines. If your charger will not let you set a rate that exactly equals one of rates below, then set your charger to a rate closest to the one you need without exceeding it.

Slow,C/10 or Constant Rate   16 Hrs. Max on a fully discharged pack.
                                                                             (Excellent for "FORM" charging new packs).

Topping Rate                          For Balancing individual cells in a pack
                                                                                 (Max Time for topping is 5 hrs.) .

Trickle Rate                            May be left on charger for long periods of
                                                                              time at this rate.

Cycle/Discharge Rate              For accurately testing battery capacity.
